Nature of Participation

Participation in this internship is for professional development purposes only.

You are not an employee, worker, or contractor of the Company and are not entitled to wages, salary, or employment benefits.

Participation is voluntary and intended to support skill development and career progression.

Use as Professional Experience

Participants may present their participation in the SortNext Project Lab as professional experience on:

  • CVs
  • LinkedIn profiles
  • Interviews and portfolios

Participants must ensure that such representation is accurate and not misleading.

Fees & No Refund Policy

All payments are final and non-refundable.

By enrolling, you acknowledge that:

  • You are purchasing access to a digital programme
  • Value is delivered upon access being granted

No refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including:

  • Change of mind
  • Failure to participate
  • Failure to complete the programme

Participant Responsibilities

Participants agree to:

  • Act professionally at all times
  • Complete assigned work in good faith
  • Submit original work

Participants must not:

  • Plagiarize or misrepresent work
  • Share or distribute programme materials
  • Use programme content for unlawful or unethical purposes

Intellectual Property

All programme materials, including but not limited to:

  • Frameworks
  • Project structures
  • Systems and methodologies
  • Content and datasets

are the exclusive property of the Company.

7.1 Participant Usage Rights

Participants are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to:

  • Use their work for personal career purposes (CV, interviews, portfolio)

Participants may not:

  • Reproduce or distribute programme materials
  • Commercialise or resell any part of the programme
  • Replicate the programme or its frameworks

Use of Participant Work

By participating, you grant the Company the right to:

  • Use submitted work for internal improvement
  • Use anonymised outputs for product development or marketing

Confidentiality

Participants agree not to:

  • Share programme materials or internal content
  • Disclose systems, methodologies, or processes

This obligation continues after completion of the programme.

Restrictions

Participants may not:

  • Replicate or reverse-engineer the programme
  • Use proprietary materials to create competing services
  • Misuse access to the platform or its resources

Termination

The Company reserves the right to:

  • Remove participants for misconduct or breach of these terms
  • Restrict or terminate access without refund

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for:

  • Job outcomes or employment results
  • Career decisions made by participants
  • Indirect or consequential losses

Indemnity

Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from any claims arising from:
